Enjoy a free yoga session with your reservation

Kickstart your wellness experience at Eclipse with a free yoga class! Select the Yoga and Soak option when you make your reservation to guarantee your spot. Any guest who has booked and paid entry and not reserved the Yoga and Soak option is still welcome to join the classes on a walk-in basis if the class is not at capacity.

Yoga mats are provided. However, there are large lockers at the entrance to hold yoga mats and props if you want to bring some of your own things from home. After class all clients are required to exit the spa and return to the front desk area to grab their bathing supplies from the front lockers and have a cleansing shower. Please do not bring your bathing necessities into the yoga class. Instructors like to have the perimeter, wall areas etc. of the room free for exercises.

Marissa Yoga Teacher

Marisa Hindemith (Yin Yoga)

Marisa has lived in the Yukon since 2014, residing off-grid near Whitehorse for six years. A yoga practitioner for 15 years, she completed her RYT®-200 certification in March 2025, specializing in diverse styles from her Modo Yoga roots. With a 15-year geoscience career and an M.Sc., she also holds certifications as a Holistic Nutritionist, EMR, and Avalanche Educator. Outdoors, she thrives year-round, enjoying skiing, biking, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and homesteading, connecting deeply with nature. Movement and mindfulness are central to her life, both on and off the mat.

Sylvia Gibson

Sylvia is a Yoga Works certified instructor with a background in dance and movement work. She has previously taught vinyasa flow, prenatal and postnatal yoga, and kids’ yoga—both in studios and out in the community. She likes to facilitate the practice of yoga to explore finding ease in the challenging places and practicing deep rest so we can feel grounded and resilient in daily life.

Kristina Schmidt

Kristina Schmidt is a passionate yoga instructor with a deep appreciation for movement, music, and mindfulness. As an experienced yoga practitioner for over 10 years, Kristina completed her 300 Hour YTT Certification with Whitehorse-based Amitié in spring 2025. To her, yoga is a perfect outlet to celebrate the highs and contemplate the lows of everyday life. Oftentimes, it’s not until we tune into our bodies through movement that we realize where our stuck points are. As a teacher, Kristina will encourage you to move, sweat, breathe, and meet yourself exactly where you’re at.
